Star wars episode one: the phantom menace

Hello I'm Christian Martelino and I'll be reviewing the movie “Star wars episode one: The phantom Menace.” The Phantom menace is from before the time of the original trilogy, so no Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker. While it is considered the start of the star wars series plot wise, it is no where near as good as the rest of the movies. This movie is about the decline of one of the main republics, with it's economy slowly deteriorating, and has began taxation of trade routes. A trade federation sends a blockade of battle ships around a planet known as “Naboo”. Then some chancellor sends two jedi's, aka the good guys named Qui-gon Jinn, and his student Obi-wan Kenobi. Fans of the original trilogy will automatically recognize the name of the student being the one who taught Luke sky walker.

Basically this movies involves an awesome race, a few annoying characters such as Jar Jar binks, and an awesome enemy. The rest of the movie plot will be yours to figure out as you most likely will watch the movie. This movie compared to the others is horrible, and introduces some of the worst cg and characters such as Jar Jar Binks which the movie would not have needed. This movie features a futuristic race within a desert featuring explosions kinda, and something really fun to watch. This movie has what i find the best villian of the series for one reason, His dual bladed light saber. This movie features the title opening with “ a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...” with the giant text coming up from the bottom.

This movie is personally something i would only watch once and get it over with, but it's up to you to judge whether or not the movie is good. Anyways this is christian martelino, or better known as Kuro A. Erimaki, and i hope you like this review, Goodbye~
