Juno

Juno is a film in 2007 it is a comedy drama film directed by Jason Reitman. The film stars are Ellen Page as Juno, Michael Cera, Oliviva Thirlby, Jennifer Garner, and Jason. The movie got 231 million revenue compared to the 7 million budget.

Juno: The movie Juno is one of those kinds of movies that you don’t really watch in movies it was kind of deep plot while trying to make it funny, it’s interesting watching it. The story is about Juno ( Ellen Page) getting pregnant by her friend ( also long time admirer ) Paulie Bleeker ( Michael Cera). At first she was planning on abortion but she changes her mind and instead she made a plan for adoption, she finds a rich couple who can provide the child with well suited home. The couple are Vanessa (Jennifer Garner) and Mark (Jason Bateman) Loring, Juno is treated nicely by the two but as the movie goes on Mark started to have Romantically feelings for Juno and told her that he would leave his wife but Juno didn’t like this because she doesn’t love him since she’s already in love with Paulie Bleeker also she likes Vanessa and doesn’t want him to hurt her (this is really messed up since Juno is a teenager and Mark is old…pedo****). Mark broke up with Vanessa and told her she wasn’t ready to be a dad but he didn’t get together with Juno instead he pursue his dreams ( he’s a messed up guy ). Juno wrote Vanessa a letter that she will give her the child when she goes in labour. Near the end Juno told Paulie that she loves her, at the end Vanessa is now happy raising the baby by herself.

I tried summarizing the movie…. Anyway this movie is one of the best movie that I watch that doesn’t have action in it, not only it’s funny but it gives you this roller coaster emotion of happiness and sadness, you won’t be bored watching it. I would give this movie 9/10.

Characters: The characters in the movie are really funny except for Vanessa because she’s a serious person but Juno’s parents are really funny. I like the character interaction in this movie because of the drama and comedy mix up, it makes it interesting and entertaining. I would give the characters a 9/10.

Overall: I recommend this movie to those people who get pregnant at a young age and people who likes comedy. The movie showed this lesson to young people that it’s hard to get pregnant at a young age it’s not a joke Juno went through a lot and also the consequences of getting someone pregnant. They add in comedy to the drama to make more things entertaining. Overall I would give this movie a 9/10
