Zombieland

Zombieland is a zombie comedy movie directed by Ruben Fleischer. It stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin as survivors of the zombie apocalypse. Together they try to find a place that there are no zombies while trying to enjoy life and survive in a crazy zombie world.

Story: The story began in an apocalyptic world, in America after almost all the people are affected by the “mad zombie disease” which came from cows and transmitted to humans. Columbus the protagonist explained what was going on and he is on his way to Ohio to see if his parents are still alive. He met other survivors on the way, Tallahassee who is obsess with twinkles and also really violent when fighting zombies and the two sister Wichita and Little rock who trick them on handing all their weapons and vehicle in the begging but Columbus made a truce to the sisters and suggest on traveling together.

Later on Columbus found out that Ohio is destroyed and he decided to stay with the group (where he began to treat them as family) to look for a place that is zombie free.

Even thought the story isn’t that deep because it’s a comedy movie I really like it and the comedy was really hilarious specially Columbus’ rules on how to survive zombie attacks. It’s really smart to make a movie about a zombie comedy since I’m a fan of zombie games it’s kind of interesting to watch, I never watch a zombie comedy before when I think of zombie movies I think of horror and killing all the survivors one by one but this movie is different . I would give this movie a 9/10 because of the comedy and because of the zombie rules that Columbus made.


Characters: The combination of the character of the group makes the whole movie interesting a funny. A college student who is already scared of people before all the zombie came, a guy who is obsess with twinkles and have tendency to go berserk, two sisters who doesn’t trust anyone except each other. In the movie Columbus fell in love with older sister when they were on the road trip to look for a zombie free place and there’s this love awkward scenes in the movie that are hilarious and the little sister got attach to Tallahassee (who lost his son in the past life and now kind of lonely) he treated the little sister as her own daughter. I like the relationship of the characters, I would give the characters 10/10.


Enjoyment: while watching I didn’t get bored. The comedy was hilarious and the zombie fights are bad-@ss, I hope they make a sequel.

Overall: I think this movie is great, I recommend it for people who are fans of zombies and like watching comedy movies. The way the movie is played and the comedy, the cool effect, blood, stuff, “enjoying the small things”, etc. I really like them. I would give movie a 8/10
