The movie transformers(the original transformers movie) is based off he original cartoon series simply named “Transformers.” Some people call it a movie commercial to support the toys, while others call it a great movie. It features a giant roaming artificial planet known as “Unicron” which within the staring scenes devours a planet along with it's entire population. It then features a rock like rendition of the original transformers theme.
The enemies of the movie are the “decepticons” while the good guys are the “Autobots,” the basic plot of the movie is to stop Unicron from eating planes, while at the same time thwart the efforts of the evil decepticons. Fans of the cartoon notice that pretty much half of the Autobots from the cartoon die within the first set of scene, but it features some great voice actors such as John Moschitta Jr who is the worlds fastest speaker which coincidentally fits the character he plays “blurr” whose name explains the character. This movie has mixed views from the people who watched the movie, While some people don't like this movie, many people however do.
This movie features many great songs such as “The touch” by Stan Bush, and “Dare to be stupid” by Weird Al. The ways the songs are used within this movie, greatly compliment the movie as when the songs are used, suits the scenes in the movie, and this greatly affecting the viewers of the movie. This movie features very touching scenes, such as Optimus Prime's death, while those scenes itself will affect the fans of the cartoon. These movies features a famous quote which was used again within the recent transformers movies with the quote being said by Optimus both times, “One shall stand, One shall fall.” This movie towards the fans, is a very great movie as many people who are fans of the comic book, or cartoon of a different series such as batman, Have horrible movies, while the fans of he transformers movie got what they wanted, as the characters acted perfectly right, and that the animation never changed giving a great nostalgic value.
While many people who watch this film in this modern age will call it a horribly animated and drawn film, while at the time it was top notch. Many people who watched the recent movies will most likely not bother to watch this as they will most likely say that this animation and “graphics” is either horrible, but Towards many of the original fans, as well as any new transformers fan of this current day who would want to know more about the series must watch this. While many won't give this a positive review, I'll be saying that i definitely recommend to watch this movie, and if you don't, your missing out on something great.

I never watched the first Transformers but I did watch the TV series as a child. The recent movies with all of the technology really showed what Transformers is all about, having fun and being creative. Great post and can't wait for more posts to come!

I personally like the TV series better than the movie. When they made into a movie it ruined the concept of how interesting the Transformers are. They didn't really focus on the characters of the Autobots and the Decepticons. They spent too much time portraying the humans rather that the Transformers themselves.
